How does Hairmaker work?
Take a selfie or upload a photo, choose from 180+ hairstyles across 16 categories, and our AI generates a realistic preview of you with that style. Each generation uses one credit.
How do I get credits?
You start with 1 free credit when you sign up. You can get more by subscribing to a weekly or monthly plan, or by purchasing credit packs individually (5 for $0.99, 20 for $2.99, or 50 for $5.99).
What if a generation fails?
If a generation fails due to a technical error on our end, your credit is automatically refunded to your balance. No action needed on your part.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, find Hairmaker, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your premium access will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Profile, scroll down and tap Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data, including photos, generated images, and profile information.
What photos work best?
Front-facing selfies with good lighting and a clear view of your face produce the best results. Avoid sunglasses, heavy filters, extreme angles, or group photos.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS encryption, photos are stored in private user-scoped storage buckets with row-level security, and we never sell or share your data with advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Which devices are supported?
Hairmaker is available for iPhone running iOS 16 or later. iPad support is planned for a future release.
How long does a generation take?
Most generations complete within 15-30 seconds, depending on server load and the complexity of the selected hairstyle.
